BITSAT 2027
The entrance test for BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. Unlike JEE it examines English and Logical Reasoning as well as PCM, and admission runs on the BITSAT score alone — there is no central counseling authority involved.

Who can apply
- Class 12: Passed in the year of the exam or the previous year, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, plus adequate proficiency in English.
- Minimum marks: At least 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together, and at least 60% in each of the three subjects individually.
- First attempt rule: Candidates who have already taken admission at any BITS campus are not eligible to reappear for a better campus or branch.
- Board: Any recognised board is accepted. Class 12 must be completed in the qualifying year — there is no gap-year concession beyond the previous year.
- Direct admission: Board toppers of central and state boards are offered direct admission to a programme of their choice, independent of BITSAT.
