Who can apply
- Studying in Class 8 to Class 12
- Born between 1 August 2006 and 31 July 2013 (2025–26 cycle)
- Eligible to hold an Indian passport
- Must not have joined any college/university before June 2026
- OCI students may appear in some stages but cannot represent India at the IMO
Exam pattern
- Single objective paper — typically 30 questions in 3 hours
- Every answer is an integer from 00 to 99 (no options to guess)
