Something went wrong? Tell us properly.

Every complaint reaches a person, gets a reference number, and has a deadline attached to it. This page sets out how to raise one, what we commit to, and where you can go if we fail you.

Where to write

Email the grievance desk with your registered email or phone number, what happened, and what you would like us to do. If your complaint concerns a purchase, include the order or transaction ID — it saves a round trip.

If your complaint is specifically about your personal data — access, correction, erasure or consent — you can also use the request form on Your data rights, which routes to the same desk.

Five steps, with deadlines

  1. 1

    Write to us

Email the grievance desk from the address on your account, describing what happened and what you would like done.

  2. 2

    Acknowledgement

We confirm receipt within 1 working day and give you a reference number.

  3. 3

    Investigation

We look into it and come back to you if we need anything further to proceed.

  4. 4

    Resolution

We resolve within 30 days. If a case genuinely needs longer, we tell you why and when to expect an answer.

  5. 5

    Escalation

If you are not satisfied, you can escalate — the route depends on the type of complaint and is set out below.

How to escalate

Personal data complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response to a personal-data complaint, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act, 2023.

Consumer disputes

For disputes about a purchase that we have not resolved, you may approach the appropriate consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Our governing law and jurisdiction terms set out where that applies.

Questions about raising a complaint

What can I raise a grievance about?
Anything: how your personal data has been handled, a payment or refund problem, content you believe is wrong or infringing, the conduct of a staff member, or an accessibility barrier that stopped you using the site.
What should I include?
Your registered email or phone number, what happened and when, any order or transaction ID, and what outcome you are looking for. Screenshots help. Writing from the address on your account lets us verify you without extra steps.
How long will it take?
We acknowledge within 1 working day and aim to resolve within 30 days. Complex cases can take longer, and where they do we will tell you why rather than leaving you waiting.
What if I am not satisfied with the outcome?
For complaints about your personal data, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act, 2023. For consumer disputes about a purchase, you may approach the appropriate consumer forum. Neither route requires our permission, though we would rather resolve it directly first.
Is this the same as a refund request?
Not quite. A straightforward refund request is handled through the refund and cancellation process. Use this page if a refund request has not been dealt with properly, or if your complaint is about something other than a purchase.
Can someone else raise a complaint for me?
Yes. A parent or guardian may raise a grievance on behalf of a student, and under the DPDP Act you may nominate another person to exercise your data rights on your behalf.
